A recent statement released by the Ghana Police Service states that the key suspect involved in the murder of the young soldier in Ashaiman has been busted. The letter reads, “The Police after a week of sustained intelligence-led operation have arrested the key suspects involved in the murder of Imoro Sherrif, the soldier who was found dead at Taifa Ashiaman on 4th March 2023,” The “swoop” they said had led to the arrest of about 184 suspects aged between 21 and 47 years old and they have since handed them over to the military police who will subsequently send them over to the Ghana Police Service for screening and further action. About a week ago the murder of a young soldier in Ashaiman raised tension across the country. The young soldier by name Imoro Sherif according to reports took permission from authorities to pay a visit to his family at Ashaiman but unfortunately met his untimely death from these perpetrators. Highlife artist Kuami Eugene has asked ladies who want to date him to develop a thick skin because everyone wants a bit of him. According to Kuami Eugene, being his girlfriend is not simple. The well-known artist claims that he enjoys being treated like a mother’s boy. “I am not dating… Right now, I know dating me will be very difficult. You should have tough skin to date me,” he disclosed. “Currently, women, girls, everyone, including men, want to have one person to themselves…If you wanna have me to yourself, it’s gonna take some sacrifices because people won’t just allow you to. “They won’t allow you to have Kuami all for yourself. You’ll get a lot of hatred… people are gonna hurt you. They will come at you,” he hammered. Everybody wants a piece of me. It is what it is…I am attracted to smart and neat people,” he said.

 The military swoop at Ashaiman was to man-hunt suspects who killed the young soldier - Ghana Armed Forces. In a press statement released by the Ghana Armed Forces, the operation held within the Ashaiman community was to fish out the unknown criminals who murdered one of their soldiers. “GAF wishes to state categorically that the military operation, which was sanctioned by the Military High Command, was NOT to avenge the killing of the soldier but rather to fish out the perpetrators of the heinous crime,” GAF stated. The young murdered soldier who was stationed at Sunyani sought for permission from authorities to pay a visit to his family and for a short course but unfortunately met his untimely death from these unknown criminals at Ashaiman.
